Sole Sneaker Club

Sole Sneaker Club is a digital fashion NFT project raising funds to provide new shoes to underprivileged youth. They approached me to build a youthful, nostalgic, playful brand identity for the project. NFTs were still a new concept to a lot of people, so I wanted the identity to feel relevant without feeling unfamiliar.

To ground the identity in something familiar, I pulled from the Y2K fashion era that was trending at the time, referencing brands like Von Dutch, Juicy Couture, Phat Farm, Ed Hardy, and Paul Frank. I developed the creative strategy, logo, and custom illustration work that carried that nostalgic, playful feel across the brand, including merch designs for their first printed collection.

The client was thrilled with the brand identity and merch designs. The first merch collection sold out in three days.
